Tournaments are optional!

There are two different types of tournaments: Student Angler Tournament Trail (SATT) and Lund Virtual fishing events. For both types of tournaments, you will need to be registered at TBF (The Bass Federation), the cost is about $50 per year. SATT tournaments are held on a specific lake. Virtual tournaments allow you to register on a selected lake of your choice. If you are thinking about fishing tournaments here are some things to know.

Registration with TBF

We will register the student with TBF. You must call them to pay the registration fee. Contact #TBF: 580-765-9031. Once TBF receives your payment, they will issue a TBF# required for tournament registration.

Partners

To fish tournaments you will want a fishing partner. The two of you will register as a team and you must have access to a boat and boat captain. You can have the same partner throughout the season or change if needed. If you are interested in a tournament, but do not have a boat, we may be able to reach out to contacts who may be willing to boat captain for you.

Tournament Registration

SATT will post the registration dates. They will be on a Thursday at 6PM. You will want to be ready with all the information for registration at 6PM. They can fill up quickly! Make sure you are ready to register you and your partners information. You will need:
